Last stop, but not least, was Toronto. If Montreal was like traveling to Europe, Toronto was like returning to the States but to a parallel dimension where everything is clean, and full of nice people. What was going on over there? Yes, WorldPride. You may be wondering, what´s the difference between WorldPride and a regular Pride? Well, darling, people, loooots of people everywhere. Concerts, parties, stands, briefly dressed individuals and people claiming for their rights. I’m sorry to break it to you but all Pride celebrations are or should be for that. Make yourself visible, loud and shiny and fight for your rights, the right of being treated equal because, although it seems hard to see, we are all the same, despite the color of our skin, the gender, whom we believe in or whom we love. If you missed this one don’t worry because Madrid 2017 will be waiting for you and trust me, there’s nothing alike Madrid´s Pride. Obviously, fighting for your rights also deserves some reward and what could be better than a bunch of gorgeous Drag Queens? I can´t think of anything better. First were the finalists and winner of 6th season of Rupaul´s Drag Race: Courtney Act, Darriene Lake, Adore Delano and Bianca del Rio. Great, but from the distance is not as good as when you can touch, Am I right? When we thought our trip couldn´t get any better, it happened. The last party we were attending to was going to host the gorgeous Alyssa Edwards (Ru Paul’s Drag Race Season 5) and the hurricane Shangela(Ru Paul’s Drag Race Season 2 and 3). We couldn´t be happier. They arrived and took the house down. Looking absolutely stunning they were taking care of the fans all night. When Alyssa saw our “Kiss My Backrolls” she died from conception to production the shirt was meant to honor the greatness that is Alyssa and it was beyond cool to share it with her. She was extremely nice, smiling all the time, taking photos with everyone and talking to all the fans and for the record, I really need to say, that it doesn’t matter how close you get, she looked absolutely flawless. Shangela, was just as personable and she managed to set the stage on fire. I don’t know about you, but if you are in New York, you can’t miss her new show ”Straight Outta Paris”, a hilarious cabaret show at the Laurie Beechman Theater . All in all the trip was a success, everyone needs a break from the Big, rotten, apple now and then but it’s good to be back and who knows where you’ll catch our shirts next.
